Hello Church Family,

Here is our Missions Update for June 2026!

KAIROS Prison Ministry

Prayer & Share at Pickaway Correctional Institution continues to go very well. We are seeing approximately 30 men gathering each week to grow in their relationship with the Lord, disciple one another, and be a light for Christ within the prison.

Please keep Pickaway Correctional Institution in your prayers, as they currently do not have a chaplain on staff.

If you would like to learn more about KAIROS Prison Ministry or upcoming prison ministry weekends, please let us know.

C.O.M.O. (Compassion Outreach Ministries of Ohio)

On May 23 and May 31, we had the opportunity to serve more than 75 men and women through C.O.M.O. Together, we provided meals, showers, hygiene kits, and assistance with healthcare, housing, recovery, and other essential needs. Most importantly, we were able to share the love of Christ in a welcoming and encouraging environment.

Volunteer Opportunities

Capital City Church will provide all food and supplies. We simply need volunteers willing to cook and serve.

Upcoming Mission Opportunity – Papua New Guinea

We are currently looking for individuals interested in serving on an upcoming mission trip to Papua New Guinea.

The Mission Minded Men Annual Project Teams are now forming to assist with the construction of the new National Office for the Churches of Christ in Christian Union in Papua New Guinea.

Team 1: November 28 – December 12, 2026

Team 2: January 16 – January 30, 2027

If you are interested in serving on one of these teams, please contact the General Missionary Department for more information, or let Mike Dimmerling know by June 15.

If you would like to help cook, serve, shop for supplies, participate in local outreach opportunities, or learn more about missions, please let us know.

Thank you for your continued prayers, support, and willingness to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community and around the world.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..." — Matthew 28:19

Blessings,

Michael & Erica Dimmerling
