I’m excited to announce that the state, at the direction of KPMI, has officially approved inviting prospective volunteers as guests to Kairos Reunions and Retreats!
This is a great opportunity to experience the Kairos ministry firsthand before serving on a weekend.
Reunions are held monthly and last about 2 hours.
Retreats are held once each quarter.
If you've ever felt God stirring your heart to serve in prison ministry, this is the perfect opportunity to see what Kairos is all about.
Come see Mike Dimmerling to fill out an application, and let's walk together in the mission God is calling you to!
"I was in prison and you came to visit me." — Matthew 25:36

Prayer Focus: Women's Kairos Ministry
Please join us in praying for the six women from Capital City Church who are preparing to serve on the upcoming Women's Kairos Weekend at the Marysville prison.
Pray that God would use them to share the love, grace, hope, and forgiveness of Jesus Christ with women who may feel forgotten, broken, or without hope. Ask the Holy Spirit to go before them, preparing hearts to receive the Gospel and reminding every resident that they are deeply loved by God and never beyond His redeeming grace.
Please also pray for protection, wisdom, unity, and strength for each team member as they faithfully serve. May God use this mission to transform lives for His glory.
Scripture
"For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited Me in, I needed clothes and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you came to visit Me."
— Matthew 25:35–36 (NIV)
Please pray for these Capital City Church team members:

Misty Willis

NEWSLETTER
Dear Capital City Church Family,
As I reflect on everything God has done through our church this past year, my heart is filled with gratitude. Thank you for your prayers, your generosity, and your willingness to serve wherever God leads.
This month marks a special milestone as Erica and I celebrate our first full year leading the Missions Ministry at Capital City Church (July 2025–July 2026). What an incredible year it has been! We have seen God open doors, build new ministry partnerships, meet practical needs, and use our church to share the hope of Jesus Christ throughout our community and beyond. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside each of you and are excited to continue building on what God has started as we look forward with great anticipation to what He will do in the years ahead.
Because of your faithfulness, lives are being changed. People are finding hope, needs are being met, the Gospel is being shared, and Christ is being glorified. Every meal served, every prayer offered, every conversation, every act of kindness, every volunteer, and every gift given is making an eternal difference.
We are also excited to share that the Capital City Missions website has been updated! Along with our current ministry partners, we are excited to welcome Ready for Change as our newest ministry partner. Our prayer is that all of these ministries will continue to grow as the Holy Spirit leads our church to accomplish the Father's will through our Lord Jesus Christ.
We encourage you to visit the Missions website regularly to learn more about our ministry partners, discover ways to serve, and stay up to date on what God is doing through Capital City Missions. You may even discover a ministry where God is calling you to serve through prayer, volunteering, or giving.
The Apostle Paul reminds us:
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."
Colossians 3:23
And Jesus Himself said:
"Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
Matthew 5:16
Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus in our church, throughout our community, and to the ends of the earth. We are truly blessed to serve alongside each of you, and we're excited to see what God will continue to do as we faithfully follow Him together.
May God continue to bless you and your family as we seek to know Christ more deeply, love others more faithfully, and make His name known.
With gratitude and blessings,
Mike & Erica Dimmerling
